‘The Red Fruit Burst Open’(アカイミハジケタ)
The desire of tongue twitches because of the moaning of flesh
It shrieked and fell
Handcuffs, fetters, gags
Swallow up virtues, five inches of pity*
One piece... Two pieces... Of nails are ripped off*
Wave goodbye to conciousness
If we join as one tightly and tear apart, it will feel like*
The arcadia from dream
Candles flicker, the present life appears
'The red fruit bursted open'
Be intoxicated in the ugly strange sounds, and dance with the rotten man at night
Resentment pierces through, bathe in screams, put on mortuary makeup
There is love in hate, a love that everyone envies
Therefore there is obsession, a feast that ends in the dream
Getting dazed, staggering around, here and there
Open and close, closed eyes and empty head, Feeling like the world is spinning around
Arising at the hour of the ox*
MV:
'I sincerely adore you'
I had been keeping it to myself
I had been tortured by it
The hidden feeling
Is crawling out of me
今日
Today
昨日
Yesterday
The day before yesterday
It is always on my mind...
ある日
One day
It turns into a tiny sound...
*Note:
アカイミハジケタ: Or written as '赤い実はじけた', it is a phrase that means puppy love or falling in love, which comes from Keiko Nagita's 1992 novel of the same name. The novel is about primary school students falling in love and is a primary 6 Japanese language teaching material.
During the ox-hour shrine-visit, the practitioner will nail a straw doll representing her target to a sacred tree at the Shinto shrine with five-inched nails.
A part of the target (usually nails or hair) or related item (like photos) is put into the straw doll for cursing.
The word can mean 'sexual intercouse' or 'vow'.
Could be related to ox-hour shrine-visit (ushi no koku mairi, 丑の刻参り).
