(Emptiness)
Satify ‘myself’, satified by ‘me’, it is an empty body inside the shell
Therefore my mind drifts only like a floating moon, my life is even lighter than dust
Although my appearence is there, what shall it be called
Distended dreams are merely dreams, nothing really exists*
‘I’ am emptiness
I do not intend to look back, or to turn away,
Or even to set an example and escape to somewhere else
Stupidly honest and absent-minded, if I look at the void sky...
I leave ‘myself’ behind, ‘I’ covet for ‘the reality’
I am too fragile to chew, as tasteless as sand
If I am buried in ‘reality’, if I am affected by ‘reality’, the shell rattles
Therefore I am going nowhere, and yet arriving nowhere, my life is even lighter than dust
To let not my shape fall, to touch not others' thorn,
I bring my distended dreams towards a blade... they exist no more
‘I’ am emptiness
*Notes:
Garandou, a temple that worship Garanjin, a deity that guardstemples and shrines. The word can also mean the emptiness in heart.
A Buddhist term, meaning having no shape or form. Because if dreams have no shape or form, they are not achieved, hence they are nothing but dreams.
